I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out about the lack of pediatric dental care and education in Guatemala, I knew I had to help. So in 2015, a special group of people, myself included, came together to form the Southeast Pediatric Dental Mission Team. We have been back every year since (except during the heights of COVID).
So this year, my assistant, my front office staff member and myself are heading back to Guatemala! We are traveling in August of this year with a team of dental and medical professionals. We plan to treat 150-200 children during our week-long mission trip.
To help pay for our trip and the dental and medical supplies that are needed to treat these awesome children, I am working with a charity called The Vine and Branch Foundation, Inc. The campaign to fund our 2023 mission trip to Guatemala will provide dental treatment and oral hygiene education to the less-fortunate children of Guatemala—and you can be a part of it.
I would love to reach my goal, but I would really like to blow my goal away! Please know that anything I raise above my goal will be used to help Guatemalan children this year and in future years!
A sincere thank you to those that have supported this mission in the past. Thanks to you we have been able to treat hundreds of children that otherwise would not have been able to have treatment.
